We chose this place because it was a more family friendly Indian option in the area. They have a solid kid's menu, but the food was amazing. We tried several street food small plates and then some more traditional curries and nann for dinner. The service was exceptional. Our waiter took the time to explain the menu options to us, and the general atmosphere of the place was cozy and inviting.

Fabulous food!!! Definitely a must if you are in London. We went to the SoHo location years ago and it was one of the best meals ever! This time when we visited London we tried this location and had another great meal. The drinks were also amazing. Not to be missed!!!

Gayle and I came here for Dinner during our London stay. We were a little tired of pub food and we love Indian Cuisine and chose their Covent Garden Location as it was an easy walking distance from our Hotel. And getting here and heading back in this neighborhood was an enjoyable experience as well. Ambiance - Comfortable and Casual Fancy with lots of customer buzz and stuffed Indian dolls hanging from the rafters. Service - Fast, professional, and helpful. Food We both chose the Regular Thali, which the menu stated that this is how Indians eat at home. Our selection (all served on a stainless steel platter) consisted of: 4 oz of butter chicken 2 fresh made vegetables 1 freshly made dal (lentil) Basmati rice Papad & Chutney An extra basket of Naan And after that, there would be no dessert. Gayle's dinner drink was table water (sparkling) and a Santara Cosmopolitan. Indian-style beer (made locally) went well with our dinner. We also struck up a nice conversation with a couple women at the next table and compared food and theater notes. Although we were on vacation, or Masala Zone experience was really a very nice date night.

First time to this location. Quite a lively atmosphere, as nice as Soho. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table after walking in, sans reservation. Definitely not the cheapest, but always tasty. I really like the Thalis. We got the butter chicken to share and a few starters. Excellent chutneys to complement. I always like a mint and theirs is great. I love the onion Bhajia. The samosa chat would be a hard pass for me next time. Soggy fried dough smashed with overly sweet sauce. Ugh. Absolutely loved the curry, dal and the vegetables. Really kind service.

We ordered the butter chicken thali and some cheese naan, both of which were good. The presentation was very nice, and the portion sizes were good (although a bit on the smaller size for what you pay). We received our food pretty fast after ordering, even on a busy Friday night, which was great! The decor inside was very interesting as well.

The food here is phenomenal. Honestly it's the best meal we had while visiting London. It was great!!! Staff is super friendly and accommodating however, make sure you have a reservation... they are always packed! We went on a Tuesday.... The place is nice, decor was very authentic. Loved it and highly recommend

I came here for a late night dinner after taking a late meeting from my hotel. It was still pretty vibrant and busy although the kitchen closed shortly after I ordered. I opted for one of the sampler platters with chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. It was a lot of food, probably enough for 2-3 people, but I really wanted to be able to try the various dishes. It was all delicious! The flavors were rich and satisfying. I ate at Dishoom as well, and honestly liked Masala just as much.

I haven't had Indian food for the longest time because nothing quite hits the spot like it used to. yEsterday I passed by this restaurant on my way to the train and decided to order something to go. It was heaven! It was all perfectly cooked and spiced. I savored every bite. Indian food will never be the same after having this for dinner. £18 it also came with papadam chips not pictured here.
